Submit proposals by April 15 for Campus Access and Success Grant initiatives

Faculty and staff at all Penn State campuses are encouraged to submit proposals

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals for Campus Access and Success Grant (CASG) funding to support projects that increase college access, facilitate college transition, and encourage college success for Pennsylvania students who wish to attend Penn State but may not have a typical academic profile due to socioeconomic disadvantages, under-resourced high schools, or systemic barriers.

The submission deadline for the 2024-25 academic year is 5 p.m. on Monday, April 15.

The Campus Access and Success Grant provides seed funding for new or pilot programs and is open to faculty and staff at University Park and Penn State Commonwealth Campuses that serve undergraduate students. Commonwealth Campuses are strongly encouraged to apply for the grant and will be given priority status in the grant process, but CASG will also consider University Park campus applications. Funding should be used toward co-curricular programs and academic resources for new initiatives to recruit, retain and support students under CASG guidelines. Renewal is possible for up to five years.

To learn more about the CASG, such as program components, student participant eligibility, funding restrictions and proposal guidelines, visit the CASG website. Final award decisions will be made by the offices of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity and the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses upon reviewing the recommendations made by the team of peer reviewers.

To submit a proposal, visit the Campus Access and Success Grant 2024 webpage.
