Society to host second annual Science Policy Symposium on Jan. 24

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Science Policy Society (SPS) will host its second annual Science Policy Symposium for students on Jan. 24, on the sixth floor of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub.

This one-day event, titled "Pillars of Science Policy," will feature talks exploring cross-sector spaces in science policy including topics on mineral resource management, health technology policy, tech diplomacy, the cognitive science of science communication, the origins of policy-for-science in the U.S., and climate risk policy. No prior knowledge of science policy is required.

Students can view the day's schedule and register for the event here. The first 70 registered attendees will receive SPS merchandise upon check-in.
